META Foundation at August House is pleased to present Inside Life. 

"Inside Life" is an exploration of the intricate realms that exist beneath the surface, both literally and metaphorically. This curated exhibition delves deep into the layers that define our existence, inviting you to contemplate the hidden narratives, emotions, and complexities that shape our innermost landscapes.

The artists featured in "Inside Life" employ a range of mediums and techniques to invite viewers into their intimate reflections on the theme. Each artwork acts as a portal, encouraging visitors to journey within themselves, exploring the complexities of emotions, memories, and identities that often remain concealed. "Inside Life" not only invites introspection but also sparks conversations about the broader connections between humanity and the natural world. Just as ecosystems thrive beneath the surface of the earth, our emotions.

The exhibition features works by Bekezela Mabena, Lisa Younger, Tamia Saunders, Melissa Haiden, Blessing Blaai and Johan Stegmann. 

The show runs from 27 August to 11 September 2023.
