Of the ‘born free’ generation in a newly independent country, Musukubili navigates the challenges of being a young woman in Namibia, often commenting on social issues, including the overwhelmingly high incidence of violence against women and girls. Elements of her Caprivian (Zambezi) heritage are deeply embedded in her recent work.
