Painted since the pandemic started it forms part of a set of paintings dealing with the chaos we seem to be living through currently. In this work, Nel looks at all the institutions coming undone, all the hierarchies tumbling down and all the uncertainty associated with the destruction of older monoliths, as forms of entropy. Things fall apart, as Chinua Achebe states.
