"I AM" - a deep and powerful invocation of Self which wells up from the depths. The painting was achieved when in a deep and meditative state, through multiple layers, and spontaneous and intuitive brushstrokes and mark-making. The artist paints blind when in these states, the result of which is a pure product of the unconscious, as well as the body's authentic movement and flow.
