The META foundation was founded in February of 2020 in order to develop a set of strategically driven programmes that focuses on artistic career development and support for the artists at August House. Our focus is aimed at developing what we see as the three pillars that make up the visual arts eco-system: the artist, the artwork and the audiences. By driving best practice, alignment and love we aim to bolster the visual arts ecosystem in South Africa.
