Emerging artist, Nyakallo Phamuli’s Documentaries of SHE- Thoughts During Night Shift (2023) operates as a kind of autoethnography. She details how the piece “...was just another documentation of self, an exploration of the day-to-day - the subtext is montages of bad memories”. Vibrant upward brushstrokes form a fiery background.
